NEW PATTERN: TAIGA

What's a beanie without a pompom, I ask you?
I'm excited to introduce a new pattern: TAIGA!

I designed Taiga to be a satisfying knit for someone who is just beginning stranded colorwork.  The pattern is visually interesting, but uses simple pairs of colors worked over frequent pattern repeats and uses very short floats. This method reduces risk of problems associated with tension, and allows the beginner to focus more on the larger task at hand- managing two colors at once.

Even better for the beginner- this hat can be knit using scraps of fingering or sock weight yarn for the contrasting colors. You'll need only 5-10 grams of each contrasting color.

Taiga comes in two sizes, and adult medium and adult large. The medium has a brim circumference of 22", and the large, 23"

TAIGA is now available as a PDF download for $3.50
